Professional Licensure and Standards

All structural engineering services provided by AO Engineers, LLC are performed by or under the direct supervision of licensed professional engineers (PE). Our engineers maintain current licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements in accordance with applicable state engineering board regulations. We adhere to the ethical standards established by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI).

Our engineering reports and opinions are prepared in accordance with accepted engineering standards and applicable building codes, including the International Building Code (IBC), the International Residential Code (IRC), ASCE 7 load standards, and applicable Kentucky and local amendments.
